Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using ZapData, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. ZapData is operated by a company registered in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You must provide accurate registration details, including a valid Nigerian phone number.
  • Payments and wallet funding are made in Naira (NGN) and are subject to applicable Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) regulations, including know-your-customer (KYC) checks at the tiers described in our Help Center.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and transaction PIN secure.
  • You must not share your transaction PIN, allow anyone else to use your account, or use another person's identity.
  • Accounts used for fraud, chargebacks, or abuse will be suspended and reported to the relevant authorities where required.

4. Purchases and delivery

Orders are placed at the price shown at checkout. Delivery is automated and usually completes within seconds, but may take longer during provider outages. You are responsible for entering the correct phone number, meter number, or betting account ID. We verify the destination before purchase, but an order delivered to details you entered cannot be reversed. Refundable situations are described in our Refund Policy.

5. Fair use

  • Do not attempt to disrupt, probe, scrape, or abuse the platform, its APIs, or its rate limits.
  • Do not resell services outside the agent program.
  • Do not use the service for unlawful purposes or to transact on behalf of others without their consent.

6. Agent program

Agent pricing, recharge card printing, and bulk ordering are available only to active subscribers. An expired subscription reverts the account to standard customer pricing automatically. Agent credit is non-transferable.

7. Limitation of liability

We work with third-party network providers and cannot guarantee their uptime. Where an order fails or is not delivered, our liability is limited to the value of the affected order, handled per our Refund Policy. We are not liable for losses caused by incorrect details you enter, events outside our reasonable control, or an unrelated customer's account activity.

8. No financial advice

ZapData is a VTU and utility payments platform, not a bank, insurance, or investment provider. Wallet balances are stored value for purchasing our services and do not attract interest. Nothing on this platform is financial advice.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. On closure, any remaining wallet balance is refunded to you less any outstanding fees, per the Refund Policy.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will first be resolved informally through our support channels. If a dispute cannot be resolved, the courts of Lagos State shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes are reflected here with a new effective date. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated terms.
